Sunday, August 7th at OLV National Shrine & Basilica!
The "Penny Drop"
The beloved "Penny Drop" begins prior to 8 a.m. Mass at the Basilica. Families and friends are encouraged to drop off their pennies and loose change on the sidewalk in front of the Shrine's main entrance.
Father Baker Day Mass
The 86th Annual Father Baker Day Mass begins at Noon. Each year, the special occasion marks the passing of Venerable Nelson Baker and pay tribute to his life and legacy.Drive-Thru Chicken BBQ
Nothing goes better with summer than chicken BBQ. This year, the drive-through will be open between 1-5 p.m. (or until we are sold out). Dinners are $15 and include a half chicken, potato, cole slaw, and a roll. Pick up yours in the parking lot behind the Basilica.
